So I posted the finals of the musicians' bracket on Friday afternoon. Let's see if I can bump it up for the benefit of those who may have missed it.

Update: Yup, just cut-and-paste the poll tag into the new post. Cool.

So sixty-three face-offs under the bridge, and sixty-three great artists left by the wayside, and we wind up with the same final matchup we would have had if I'd just asked Casey to name her two favorite singers.

I've asked the kid several times in the last few days to pick a winner, and she's always answered with some variation on "both." Once I got her to say that if she had to pick one, and she had only one vote, she'd choose Bob Marley ... but then practically without pausing for breath she said, "and I'd vote for Johnny Cash tomorrow."

It's in your hands. Choose wisely.

For the third round, I'm merging the tribes. When STC and JRH agree on something it behooves a person to listen, so I'm letting the remaining artists duke it out without regional constraint.

That shrieking sound you hear is someone realizing that the new structure pits Johnny Cash against Ray Charles in the hemi-demi-semi-final round.
